Can you believe I'm blogging again? Second time in six months, pretty sure I'm killing it at this bloggin' game. So let's begin....
One of my most frequently asked questions is how to achieve a very simple, natural, "no makeup" look. When most people think about a natural or simple makeup look, first thought is to use as little makeup as possible. FALSE!!!! I'm not saying that we are gonna go grab a full coverage foundation and paint our faces, but we are still going to use a handful of different makeup products to achieve this look.
I'm always posting before and afters of my clients so maybe its time I shared the love with myself and posted one of me. Are you sure you're ready for this? I don't know if I am. I have some real sad eyebrows and lots of redness in my eyes. Lets be real though, we could all probably go on with a list for days about all the things we dislike about our face. Lucky for us, we have makeup to help hide those imperfections that we don't like.
Are you guys still reading? Did that before scare you off?
And there's the after, it's a little bit better right? It's still a very natural makeup look that I wear on the daily. Don't get me wrong, I love dramatic makeup and wish I had the time to do more dramatic looks on me but between being a busy mom, working, dating my prince charming, and a lover of sleep, I just don't have time for that. Simple, light makeup is my thing. And lets be honest, most guys dig girls who don't wear tons of makeup. At least they think we aren't wearing tons of makeup. ;)
Throughout the next couple of weeks, I will be posting step by step pictorials on how to achieve this look with a full product list. I want to focus on each part of the makeup application process so I can make sure that I explain everything so that you are able to understand and we are all happy. And hopefully the pictures help as well. Most of the products used for this look were higher end brands but, I will add drugstore brand dupes that work pretty well.
I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peak of something fun that will be coming this month. I'm so excited to share my tips and tricks with you for this "no makeup" makeup look!
PS..And please, ask as many questions as you want. I love being able to help in anyway that I can!
